National Geographic recently featured my photo “Harbour Town Lighthouse at Blue Hour” in their coffee-table book “Destinations of a Lifetime: 225 of the World’s Most Amazing Places.” My photos have also been showcased in local and international web and magazine articles, including Coastal Living Magazine, National Geographic Kids, Conde Nast Traveler, Travel + Leisure, Architectural Digest, Sail Magazine and First Coast Magazine. Be sure to check out my Tear Sheets for more of my licensed work.
Most of the images on this site are available for use in print and web ads, books, magazines, newspapers, advertising, on websites and blogs and in a number of custom applications. Images are licensed on a rights-managed, non-exclusive basis. A few exceptions are those works that are available only as royalty-free licenses and can be purchased through my Alamy stock site.
EXAMPLES OF STOCK IMAGES IN USE
RIGHTS MANAGED (RM)
Rights Managed (RM) With this license, the customer only pays for what they’re using the image for. Rights Managed licenses can define how, where, when or for how long an image is being used. In cases where a model/property release is not available, the image will fall under Rights Managed Editorial license. Editorial images are images that have not been released for commercial use. I do not provide the service of researching and/or obtaining any needed additional releases. I make no representations or warranties for the use of names, logos, uniforms, trademarks, registered or copyrighted designs or works of art depicted in any Image. You must decide that all necessary rights, consents or permissions as may be required for reproduction of any image have been secured by you. Please review the license carefully.
ROYALTY FREE (RF)
Royalty Free (RF) Customers pay a one-off fee to use the image with no restrictions on how they use it, or how long they use it for. RF images can be used across multiple projects, forever. Royalty Free images need to have the right releases if they contain people or property.
Rights Managed (RM) license fees are determined using PLUS (Picture Licensing Universal System), the industry standard pricing guide for stock and assignment photography. Fees vary greatly depending on the specific type of use which includes circulation, print run, medium, geographical location, image size and the length of use. Licenses are granted for one-time non-exclusive use. That means you can use the image for one type of use only. Reuse of the photo would require additional licensing fees.
Be sure you fully understand your intended usage of a stock image before purchasing a licensing agreement. Providing fraudulent information about intended usage and breaching a licensing agreement is punishable by law.
Please note, I do not provide images for "credit", except for select organizations and non-profits.
MAKING A PURCHASE
A free account is required for licensing and downloading photos. If you do not have an account yet with my website, you will be prompted on your way to “Checkout” to create a free account. If you are considering purchasing an image(s), you can use the website's selection and cart process to pick images, log in, and download 700px low-resolution previews for layout mock-ups.
After the transaction has been completed, my website retrieves the appropriate file(s) from its database and creates a ZIP file. You will be notified via email when the files are ready for retrieval (usually a few minutes wait at the most), at which point you may log into your account and click “My Downloads” to retrieve the ZIP. You will have up to 96 hours to download the images. After that, you will need to contact me if you need to retrieve the image again.
